Two Things Can Be True

It is absolutely possible to experience two things at the same time. It is possible to feel more than one emotion at a time. We are conditioned to think it has to be this or that and not a combination of both.

When my Granny died, I felt this way. I was happy for her knowing how she longed to be with God. I was sad for me because I would miss our conversations.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

Two things can be true. Through the power of God:

I can cry and smile.

I can bend and not break.

I can have no answers and have peace.

I can accept His Will and not like it.

I can love and I can let go.

I can fully commit and want more.

Two things can be true.
